I'm Jarred Ward, I have almost 30 years experience as a musician and songwriter, and many years performing in the music industry. I'm the lead guitarist in local band Flying Giant, and my work is available on Spotify and YouTube

My approach to playing music is at its core focused on creativity. I will take my students on a journey to discover and exercise their own creative power, and learn to channel that through a musical instrument.

Music truly is a language of its own. I believe great music is achievable at any skill level, but the more tools we give ourselves to understand and communicate within that language, the easier we can achieve that consistently.

Pure creativity and rigid theory are two sides to the same coin. I will help you strike the balance between the two, and build your lessons to suit you as an individual. This journey is allowed to be fun the whole way!

It doesn't matter what skill level you are at, I guarantee I can help you get more out of your strings.
