🎉 Welcome Back to School! 🎉
We’re excited to welcome all of our students and families back as the new term begins tomorrow! We hope everyone has had a wonderful break and is ready for a fantastic start to the year ahead.
⏰ Reminder: Our school day will return to the usual finishing time of 3:30pm.
🌭 BBQ Lunch – 1:00pm
To celebrate the start of term, we’ll be hosting a BBQ lunch at 1:00pm, and families are warmly invited to join us. It’s a great opportunity to connect, catch up, and be part of our school community.

🐰 Easter Bonnet Parade & Attendance Awards 🐰🌼

Families are invited to join us for our Easter Bonnet Parade and End of Term Attendance Awards on Thursday 2 April at 1:00pm.

Students will be showing off their Easter hats and baskets, and will also take part in an Easter egg hunt. Attendance awards will be presented during the event.

Students have been sent home with the attached invitation today.

Friday 27th - School update WK 9

Today we also had an unexpected visitor just before second lunch. A very brave student spotted a snake and did exactly the right thing - she calmly returned to her classroom and informed her teacher. Thanks to her quick thinking, the situation was managed safely before students were released.
Our TA Carmel, monitored the snake from a safe distance until Roger from Parks arrived. A big thank you to our staff for keeping students calm and inside classrooms while the situation was handled.
The snake measured approximately 2.1 metres and was identified as a brown snake.
Thank you to Roger for your prompt assistance - we truly appreciate your help.

Families, please take care and remain alert, especially around long grass.

📢 School Open – Monday 23rd

Dear parents and carers,

We would like to advise that the school will be open tomorrow (Monday 23rd) and operating as normal.

The premises have been thoroughly checked by QBuild and the HOC and it is safe for students and staff to return. QBuild has also organised for contractors to attend in the coming days to clear fallen trees and debris.

Please note that there are some fallen trees and debris around the school grounds, so we kindly ask that you remain mindful and take care when walking into the school.

Congratulations to our Silver and Gold attendance Award winners! 🌟🏆

These students have achieved an outstanding 85%-95% attendance during the first 5 weeks of term 1, earning themselves a Silver or Gold certificate. This is such a fantastic achievement-well done to all our students and their supportive parents.

If your child did not receive a mid-term attendance awards this time, don't worry - we will be celebrating attendance again at the end of Term 1. Every day counts, and there is still plenty of time to reach your goal!

Come along today - 27th February to hear our senior students present their leadership speeches as they nominate for School Captain, Sports Captain and Band Captain for 2026.

We will also be presenting our half term Attendance Awards during this time.

We would love to see our families there supporting our students as they share their goals and leadership aspirations. And receiving a silver or gold award for their attendance for the 5 weeks of Term 1....
