National Science Week in STEM! š
Our students have been busy getting hands-on with science through exciting investigations, experiments and plenty of discovery!
š§ļø Prep explored different materials to find out which would make the best waterproof raincoat.
š Year 1/2 investigated Earth and our place in the Solar System.
š§Ŗ Year 3/4 got messy exploring the unusual properties of oobleck.
š§ Year 5/6 investigated whether salt can be recovered after dissolving in water.
From predicting and experimenting to observing and discovering, thereās been lots of scientific thinking happening in STEM! š

This week our school took part in the Bullying No Way: National Week of Action. Students participated in activities that explored what it means to be a good friend, how to respond when someone is being treated unfairly & the important role we all play in creating a safe and welcoming school community.

Yesterday, we celebrated a very special milestoneā100 days of learning, growing and belonging at St Paulās!
Our incredible Prep students have embraced their learning journey with curiosity, courage and kindness. In just 100 days, they have grown in confidence, independence & resilience - we couldnāt be prouder...

Our young mathematicians took their 2D and 3D shape skills to the next level! Students put their knowledge to the test by designing and building their very own creative cityscapes, identifying a huge range of shapes along the way. It was wonderful to see their imagination and geometry skills come to life!

Term 3 is officially underway, and we couldnāt have asked for a better start! Launching into the new term, our community came together to celebrate the Feast Day of our school patron, St Paul. Our day began by learning about St Paulās remarkable journey of faith, before gathering as a school community for Mass. Our studentsā beautiful singing filled the church, creating a joyful & prayerful celebration. The festivities continued back at school with fun activities that brought our community together. š
May St Paulās example continue to inspire us to live with courage, kindness and faith every day.š©µ

Our senior netball team brought home the best news on the last day of term!
After winning both of their matches in the Coburg District Finals, the girls have officially qualified for the INM Division Winter Championships in Term 3! šāØ
We are incredibly proud of how these students represented St Pauls. Throughout both games, they showed outstanding teamwork, determination, & sportsmanshipā playing with absolute confidence and pride. Well done, girls! āØ

What a fantastic way to wrap up the term! Our Senior Student Leaders did an amazing job organising this morningās Hatastic Day, bringing so much joy to our community. After leading an incredible Parade, our leaders kept the celebrations going by sharing the fun with our Playgroup toddlers. A huge thank you to everyone who donated. Your generosity will contribute to purchasing new activities for our St Paulās Playgroup. That wraps up Term 2! We wish you all a well deserved, safe and relaxing term break! š„³
