Today we are incredibly proud to celebrate Tash, who attended her graduation ceremony after completing her Bachelor of Education earlier this year.
This is such a wonderful achievement and represents years of study, commitment and hard work. Congratulations, Tash.
At Trikki we are so proud to have university-trained teachers working directly with children across all of our services, alongside our amazing Diploma and Certificate III qualified educators. Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience to create the wonderful teams we have across Trikki Kidz.
We strongly believe in the value of highly qualified early childhood professionals and we are proud of all the amazing teachers and educators we have within our services.

To the amazing women and men who show up every day to care for, nurture, teach, protect and love some of the most important little humans in the world — today is for you.

What you do matters. The cuddles, the conversations, the patience, the messy play, the wiped tears, the big laughs, the learning moments and the million little things you do that nobody else sees all make a difference.

You are helping shape childhoods, creating memories and giving children a place where they feel safe, loved, valued and like they belong.

We are so lucky to have the team we do.

Happy Early Childhood Educators’ Day! I hope today reminds you just how important you are and how appreciated you truly are.

Yarra's Kinder children have been loving exploring sustainability while getting creative with paper clay!
They started with recycled shredded paper, soaking it in water and glue before mixing, squishing and pressing it together to create our pulp.
They then strained the liquid before getting stuck in with their hands and creative minds!
The children manipulated, moulded and transformed the recycled paper pulp into some amazing structures.
What a wonderful hands-on experience-learning that recycled materials can be given a new life while having lots of fun creating!

Real glassware, real crockery, tablecloths and the opportunity to self-serve — mealtimes in our Kinder room are like a little restaurant experience every day.
These everyday moments are about so much more than eating. They give our children opportunities to practise independence, responsibility, turn-taking, coordination and care for their environment — all while enjoying the social experience of sitting and sharing a meal together.

We believe our children are capable, competent and deserving of beautiful, respectful spaces and experiences.

We’d love to hear from our families — what responsibilities does your child have around mealtimes at home? Do they help set the table, serve their own food, pour their own drink, clear their plate or help with the dishes? And is there something they’re currently learning to do independently at home that we could support here at Trikki? We'd love to hear about all age groups.

Today one of my kindergarten children proudly wrote “POO” on a piece of paper. 💩😂
Now, as an Early Childhood Teacher, I’m obviously supposed to focus on the important stuff — letter formation, phonological awareness, confidence in writing, making meaning through print…
But as a human being, I’m also thinking…

SHE WROTE POO. 😂

Literacy is literacy, people. We celebrate ALL writing here. 💩

And really, what better motivation to write than a word you find absolutely hilarious?

True science in action! An experiment doesn’t always work the first time — and that’s where some of the best learning happens. Our scientists tested their rocket, watched what happened, made changes and tried again… until BLAST OFF!

Science is about wondering, experimenting, problem-solving and learning from the things that don’t quite go to plan. What a wonderful example of persistence and discovery in action!
