We’re calling all Dads, Uncles, Granddads, Grandpas and special men in the lives of our students to join us for our Father’s Day Picnic and take their place on the starting line!

🎓Year 5 Transition Day – St. Mary of the Angels🎓
Today, our Year 5 students enjoyed a fantastic Transition Day experience at St. Mary of the Angels Secondary College.

The day was a great success, with our students enthusiastically embracing the opportunity to experience a taste of secondary school life. Throughout the day, students participated in a range of engaging activities, explored new learning environments and connected with staff and students at the College.

It was wonderful to see our Joeys so engaged, curious and willing to have a go throughout each of the activities. They represented St. Joseph’s beautifully and made the most of every opportunity presented to them. Experiences such as today are an important part of the pathway towards secondary school, helping our students to build familiarity, confidence and excitement as they begin to look ahead to the next stage of their educational journey.

A big thank you to the staff and students at St. Mary of the Angels for providing such a welcoming, engaging and valuable experience for our Year 5 students. What a wonderful first step in their journey towards transitioning to secondary college!

🎈🐭 MAGGIE MOUSE’S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE! 🐭🎈
What a wonderful day of celebration we had for Maggie Mouse’s Surprise Birthday Party!
To celebrate the fantastic achievement of learning all of our letters, our students came together for a very special birthday celebration; and what a success it was!

We were absolutely amazed by the creativity and effort that went into the students’ Letter Character costumes. From clever homemade creations to familiar favourite characters, our students certainly brought their learning to life!

Throughout the day, students enjoyed lots of fun birthday activities, including the always-popular Pin the Tail on Maggie Mouse. Thank you also to our families for the incredibly generous plates of party food that were sent along to share. There was certainly no shortage of delicious treats for everyone to enjoy!

We finished our celebrations with disco music, dancing and plenty of smiles. It was extra special to have our Year 6 buddies join us for a dance at the end of the day, helping our students celebrate this exciting learning milestone in true Joeys style.

It was a day filled with learning, laughter, friendship and fun, and a wonderful way to recognise just how far our students have come.

Congratulations to our clever learners on learning all of their letters, and Happy Birthday, Maggie Mouse! 🎂🐭🎈
