Looking for a simple, fun and sensory activity to keep the little ones entertained this weekend? Why not have a go at making Goop! 🤩

Goop is a fascinating sensory experience that acts like both a liquid and a solid, making it perfect for curious little minds to explore through hands-on play. 🌈✨ It's a great way to encourage creativity, scientific thinking and fine motor development, all while having lots of messy fun! 🙌

Where We’re Going on a Bear Hunt 🐻

Today the children used their fine motor skills through cutting, creativity and imaginative play. ✂️🎨

Inspired by the story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, the children cut out the different characters and then used them to role-play the story, exploring where each character goes and bringing the story to life through their imagination.

A wonderful way to develop fine motor skills, creativity, storytelling and imaginative play! 🌿🐻

🐣🌿 SPRING TIME BABY CHICKS! 🐣🌿

We thank Dutch Thunder Wildlife for a very special Wildlife Education Program! 🦉🦘💚

Spring is such an exciting time for our native wildlife warmer weather, new growth and, most importantly… BABIES! 🐣

The children learnt what spring means for wildlife and, importantly, what to do if they come across a baby animal. They discovered that we should never simply pick up or touch a wildlife baby, whether it’s a baby bird, possum, glider or duckling.

Mum or Dad may be nearby, even when we can’t see them! Sometimes the best thing we can do is leave babies where they are and give their parents the opportunity to care for them. 🌿

The children also had the wonderful opportunity to meet some of Dutch Thunder’s adorable goslings and chicks up close! 🐥🐤 This was a beautiful hands-on experience where the children learnt about caring for animals, being gentle and respectful, and understanding that every little life matters. ❤️

We absolutely love bringing meaningful wildlife education into our kindergarten and helping nurture the next generation of little wildlife protectors! 🌏💚

🎨 Our kinder children have been busy this week exploring colours through hands-on learning! 🌈

Using hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, they transferred colours between containers while building concentration, coordination and learning through play.
