I had the pleasure of participating in the first ever Regional Early Childhood Educators Retreat over the weekend. It was amazing to be able to have the opportunity to listen to some inspiring speakers. Shelby Liddell spoke on Aboriginal Perspectives in ECEC, Katie Jarratt (Event Coordinator) spoke on Cultural Awareness and Diversity, Impacts of Trauma was presented by Tara Middleton. Sharron Johnson gave us with some valuable information about Leadership, Conversations and Active Listening and Brooke Mackenzie from Training+ with BJM led a great Mindset, Wellbeing and Goal Setting session. Jem from create4me_ engaged us with her topic Quality Area 5 - Relationships with Children, it was great seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new like minded individuals who are also passionate about their commitment to children. Thank you for putting on such a wonderful event!

Leah’s Family Day Care has a permanent position available on a Wednesday with the potential to increase days in 2025. This position would be suited for a child aged 18months - 3years due to the current children enrolled on this day. Minimum booking of 8hrs per day. Please contact me if you are interested!
