What a busy few days we’ve had at Cobby OSHC!

🎨 Craft Day – The children got creative with clay, making some fantastic creations before enjoying plenty of time playing together in the gym.

🧪 Mad Science Day – Our little scientists dug for treasures and fossils, experimented with their painted volcanoes 🌋, tried out some fun science experiments and even made their own mini pizzas! 🍕

🎭 Dress Up Day – The children had the choice to dress up in their favourite costumes, enjoyed flying gliders outside, building an awesome cubby and playing plenty of hide and seek!

So much creativity, experimenting, imagination and FUN!

WEEK 1 VACATION CARE FUN!

What an awesome start to the school holidays at Cobby OSHC! 🌟

Our first week is well underway and the children have been having a great time enjoying all the different activities on offer!

🧱 LEGO Day – building, creating and taking home some amazing creations!

🛴 Wheels Day – bikes, scooters, lots of riding and plenty of fun!

🌳 Cobby Oval Adventure – walking to the oval, exploring the playground, tennis courts and netball courts, kicking the footy and enjoying the beautiful weather!

🏀 Plus plenty of gym time, playdough, colouring, cubby building and time spent playing with friends!

There have been lots of laughs, creativity, teamwork and fun already — and we’re only halfway through Week 1! 🤩

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the holidays bring!

A reminder to our Cobby OSHC families that tomorrow is our School Closure Day – Building & Construction Day! 🧱🔧

The children will spend the day getting creative, building cubby houses, designing their own constructions and working together through lots of fun, hands-on experiences!

🍎 Morning Tea: Fresh fruit
🌭 Afternoon Tea: Sausages in bread
🥪 Please remember to pack your child a lunch for the day.

⏰ Cobby OSHC will be open from 6:30am–6:00pm.

🌟 We’ve Been a Little Quiet on Social Media… But Very Busy at Cobby OSHC! 🌟

We have been a little quiet on our socials lately, but there has certainly been plenty happening behind the scenes!

Over the past few weeks, we have been very busy welcoming lots of new children and families into our growing Cobby OSHC community. 💛 It has been wonderful watching new friendships form, seeing children settle into our space and getting to know each child’s individual interests, ideas and personalities.

We have also been busy creating, exploring, playing and having lots of fun! 🎨✨

The children have enjoyed everything from arts and crafts, painting, drawing and playdough creations to construction challenges, imaginative play, outdoor games, sports and plenty of opportunities to simply choose what they would like to do.

Our Home Corner has also been getting some attention, with the children sharing their ideas about how they would like the space redesigned and what new resources they would like to see added. We love giving our children a voice in their program and making sure Cobby OSHC feels like their space too! 🏠💭

Of course, one of our recent highlights was our Movie & Pyjama Day! 🍿🎬 The children thoroughly enjoyed getting comfy, watching movies, enjoying popcorn and movie snacks, crafting and spending the day together.

Behind the scenes, we have also been busy planning new experiences, introducing new resources and getting ready for our very first Cobby OSHC Vacation Care program! 🌈

Cobby OSHC Vacation Care bookings are now open! 🎉

If your child will be joining us these school holidays, please get your bookings in as soon as possible so we can start planning our program, activities and staffing.

Please note: Monday 5 October is the Labour Day Public Holiday.
