💙 FATHER’S DAY BREAKFAST 💙

It was so special to celebrate the amazing father figures in our school community at our Father’s Day Breakfast this morning!

Our students also enjoyed Breakfast Club and had a wonderful time sharing breakfast, playing games and spending time with their special father figures.

A huge thank you to our incredible Parent Group and the awesome mums and dads who volunteered their time on the BBQ and helped on the stall. Your support made the morning such a success!

Our SRC students were wonderful hosts and did an amazing job serving breakfast and helping throughout the morning🌟

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so memorable. It was wonderful to see so many of our special father figures enjoying breakfast and catching up for a chat.

🏀 SAPSASA BASKETBALL 🏀

What a fantastic day at the SAPSASA Basketball Carnival in Loxton today!

We were incredibly proud to take FOUR teams along to compete, what an amazing achievement for our little school! 💙💛

All of our players had a great day, with their skills, confidence and teamwork improving with every game. Thank you Addi from KOM for joining the girls and Kerry for coaching as well as Ivan and Jake for helping out.

🏀 Our Division 1 girls played some fantastic basketball and narrowly missed out on a placing
🏀 Our Division 2 girls had a great day, winning 2 of their 4 games
🏀 Both of our Division 2 boys teams played some very close and exciting games

Most importantly, we were so proud of the wonderful effort, persistence and fantastic sportsmanship shown by all of our students throughout the day. They represented Cobby beautifully! 💙💛

And with our first real taste of some warmer weather today, we think there might be a few tired basketballers sleeping very well tonight, Mr Ness and Mrs Gillespie will too!☀️😴🏀

🏏Cricket Clinic 🏏

Yesterday South Australia Cricket Association (SACA), visited our school and provided a Cricket Clinic for Reception to Year 3.

Lots of cricket skills were on display, was wonderful to see everyone particpating.

🔬Science Week🔬

Theme: Seeds of Science

Last week was Science week, Cindy from Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board visited our school. Students enjoyed learning about the seeds of some of our native plants.

Tonight our Cobdogla Choir group performs in the 30th Riverland Primary Schools' Music Festival at the Chaffey Theatre.
