- BOURKE KIDS READY SET READ BOOK LAUNCH -

Words cant express how proud I am to be part of this project with these amazing ladies!! Tanya Mitchell, Nic Jenkins and Kate Munro, pictured here, also with Jo Flick, Charlotte Goadby and all the staff at BDCS it has been fantastic working with you all! I'm so proud of what we have created together!

Yesterday we launched this amazing book which I illustrated! This resource is designed for parents to assist their children to be ready to read once they start school! Its hard for many kids, for whatever reason to be ready for the start of school and hopefully this resource will go some way in helping all of them! Not just in Bourke!

Such a proud moment at Advokate this week. The launch of the Bourke Kids Ready Set Read Book. A little project I have been collaborating on with some other fabulous women. Huge thanks to Bourke District Childrens' Services for inviting me to be involved.

At Pre-school your child is learning to:  1. Identify letters of the alphabet. 2. Blend syllables to make words and segment words into syllables. 3. Identify and produce rhyme through the introduction of nursery rhymes and songs. 4. Identify words in sentences.
