We are delighted to share that Danae Pryce has had her first day the Cobar Early Learning Centre as our new Centre Coordinator.
Danae is a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher and has relocated from the Sunshine Coast. She has made a "tree change" to Cobar with her partner, Cody, and they are looking forward to becoming part of our local community.
Danae has been working as an Assistant Director, supporting the day-to-day operations of a large, long daycare service, mentoring educators, and leading high-quality educational programs. She is passionate about creating nurturing, inclusive environments where children can thrive and places a strong emphasis on building positive relationships with children, families, and educators.
Danae brings a collaborative and approachable leadership style, a strong commitment to quality education and care, and a genuine enthusiasm for this next step in her career.
We are incredibly grateful for the support that Nichole Jenkins provides to our service, particularly over the past 12 months. Many families may not know that Nic played a key role in establishing Kubby House Childcare Centre in Cobar almost 30 years ago. This history created a deep personal connection to our service, and she remains genuinely committed to seeing us continue to thrive. Nic has been travelling hundreds of kilometres each week to support the team and help keep us moving in the right direction. Nic will continue to support a smooth transition for Danae and provide ongoing mentoring and guidance as we move into this next chapter.
We are very excited to welcome Danae to the team and look forward to the experience, stability, and energy she will bring to our service. Please help us to make Danae feel very welcome.
