Yesterday, our Year 9 students attended the Year 10 2027 Subject Expo, exploring a wide range of subjects, pathways, and future opportunities.
With almost 300 students participating, it was great to see so much curiosity, engagement, and enthusiasm as students began thinking about their senior school journey.
The day concluded with our Parent Information Evening, where students and families learned more about subject selection, senior pathways, and future opportunities.
An exciting step towards planning for the future!

Year 9 Engagement Animal Welfare class were delighted to have a visit with along with a rather adorable wellbeing dog. Students learnt the basics of the 5 pillars of animal welfare from an RSPCA perspective, some careers and interventions they are involved in. Great to see students so engaged and we most importantly made the dog welcome with lots of attention.
We are looking forward to additional visits this year and further opportunities with the RSPCA.

Last week, a number of our students represented Clyde Secondary College at the Divisional Cross Country competition at Casey Fields with outstanding results!
A huge congratulations to Brooklyn Bennett for placing 3rd in the 12–13 Girls event and Leelah Secillano for finishing 1st in the 14 Girls event.
Overall, around half of our team placed within the top 15 in their age groups, with students now progressing through to Regionals in Hastings on June 9.
An incredible effort from all students involved, with Clyde Secondary College finishing 4th overall against 8 other schools in SSV. Well done everyone!
