🧸 Teddy Bear Picnic Day in Grevillea! 🧺✨

Our Pre-Kinder children had a wonderful Teddy Bear Picnic Day, bringing their favourite teddy bears from home to join in the fun! Children created colourful cupcakes using playdough and made donuts using pool noodles, chalk paint and rice “sprinkles.” 🍩🧁 We finished the day with a lovely picnic together, enjoying fresh fruits and crackers alongside our teddies and pretend handmade treats. 🍓🍎

This special experience supported children’s creativity, fine motor development, communication and social connections, while strengthening their sense of belonging. In line with the VEYLDF, children were supported to become confident and involved learners and effective communicators through meaningful play and shared experiences. 🧸💛

💞 What a lovely day of sharing, caring, and celebrating friendship! 💞

As we noticed a special connection between our Acacia children. we celebrated the friendship day to recognized this special relationship. The children began by sticking heart-shaped paper onto their shirts and then applied bright red paint to the hearts. With big smiles, they shared gentle hugs with their friends, transferring the paint from one heart to another. The children were excited and amazed when they saw the red paint printed onto both their own hearts and their friends' hearts. There were lots of giggles as they discovered the colourful marks left by their special friendship hugs!

Our educators also joined in the activity, sharing hugs and friendship with the children and each other. This meaningful experience encouraged everyone to express care, kindness, and connection while celebrating the importance of friendship. It was a beautiful way to spread love, build relationships, and create happy memories together.

High-quality early education builds the foundation for a lifetime of health, learning, and wellbeing. This week, our children explored how everyday play shapes bright futures through hands-on learning:

• Waste Management: Learning to recycle, compost, and care for our planet.
• Dental Care: Establishing healthy smiles through fun, interactive brushing routines.
• Arts, Crafts & Baking: Boosting fine motor skills and creative expression through unique artwork and a fun cupcake decoration session!

A massive thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers who generously ran our incursions this week. Your fantastic sessions brought these themes to life and made the week incredibly special for the children.

🌊💙 Early Learning Matters Week – Learning Through Connection 💙🌊
This Early Learning Matters Week, we explored “Learnrning Through Connection” and celebrated the wonderful learning that happens when children connect with people, experiences and their community.
We were excited to build a new connection with Cretek Studio, who joined us for a special incursion where our children worked together to bring the colours of the ocean back! 🌊🎨
Through this experience, children were encouraged to explore their curiosity, imagination and creativity, while building connections through shared experiences, collaboration and discovery.
A very special thank you to Cretek Studio for facilitating such a meaningful and engaging experience for our children. 💙✨

At Aspire Bella, we were delighted to receive positive feedback from parents about their children’s experience and embedded in our curriculum. As result of it in our Acacia room our children enthusiastically engaged in an imaginative ice-skating role play experience using “skiing gear” creatively made from sustainable and recycled materials. The children confidently stepped onto their homemade skates, balancing, gliding, and pretending to skate across the “ice” while exploring movement and imaginative play.
This engaging activity supported children’s imagination, confidence, social interactions, and environmental awareness while promoting active play in a fun and meaningful way.
