✨ Acmena Room – Learning Through Play! ✏️🌿

In the Acmena room, our children are joyfully preparing their little hands for writing through engaging play-based experiences. From squishing and shaping playdough to carefully cutting and exploring natural leaves, each activity is building their fine motor strength in fun and meaningful ways.

As they play, our children are not just developing skills—they are sharing ideas, talking with friends, and building confidence. These conversations and interactions support their language development and help them express themselves more clearly.

Through creativity, exploration, and hands-on learning, our children are taking important steps on their journey towards writing—one playful moment at a time! 🌈✂️🖍️

🌿🦕 Our Lilly Lilly Inquiry Project continues as we explore nature through our senses! Today, the children enjoyed a dino sensory experience, using touch, sight, smell, and sound to investigate the natural world around them.

Through hands-on play, curiosity, and discovery, our little learners connected with nature, developed sensory awareness, and sparked their imaginations. Watching the children explore, create, and learn together has been wonderful! 💚

Our 4-year-old Kinder children love exploring books through our library program. As they flip through the pages, they are not only developing early literacy skills but also expanding their imagination, creativity, and vocabulary.

Each story opens the door to new adventures, ideas, and conversations, helping children become confident learners and lifelong readers. We love seeing their curiosity grow with every book they discover! ❤️📖

🌎 Little Hands, Big Impact 🌎

In Mulla Mulla Room, our children have been exploring and learning about the environment. To celebrate World Environment Day, the children created their own tiny Earths using salt dough and natural resources collected from our outdoor environment.
The children carefully rolled the dough and thoughtfully decorated it with flowers, leaves, and other natural treasures. This hands-on experience encouraged creativity, fine motor development, and a deeper connection with nature.
Throughout the experience, we engaged in rich conversations about how we can care for our environment. The children shared their ideas about recycling, reducing waste, looking after plants and animals, and keeping our surroundings clean.
It was wonderful to see our young learners developing an appreciation for the natural world and understanding that even small actions can make a big difference in caring for our planet. 🌱💚

The children in the Kangaroo Paw room engaged in a “Rescue of the Animals” nature wash station using child-safe resources such as food colouring and cornstarch. The children explored the sensory textures of natural materials, such as leaves, mulch, and water, during their play. They carefully washed the animals, scrubbed off the coloured mixture, and transferred them into another bowl using their hands and different tools. The children showed excitement and curiosity as they rescued and cleaned the animals, while also engaging in conversations with their peers and educators. ✨️
