Oakwood Riding School is a NOT FOR PROFIT organisation that has been established since 1958 - it is considered to be the oldest Riding School in Victoria, if not the country. Managed by a dedicated volunteer Committee of Management, a new, state of the art riding school/agistment facility was established on the 100 acre property "The Meadows" in Clyde North in 2006.

Its with great sadness we would like to tell our Oakwood community about the passing of Teddy.

He was the most amazing school horse who has taught countless people how to ride and given many a confidence boost to those returning to riding too!

He is going to be very missed around the stables and mob paddock.

You have taught no doubt thousands of people throughout the years not to mention mentoring and training generations of coaches! Training and guiding every school horse and being so very generous with your knowledge, time and wisdom.

It truly is an end of a era!
