My first Father’s Day.
There are no words to describe what it is to be a Dad.
A condensed experience of all feelings at once is probably what comes to me.
Overall, it’s one of my biggest upgrades and opportunities to evolve and grow into the man I want to be.
I want to thank my beautiful partner for giving the most beautiful gift in the world and of course you, my little prince Maël. You are teaching me so much already I can’t wait for more adventures together.
My heart fills up every day I see your cheeky smile.

Wisdom is wisdom - irrespective of race, location or language. It's important to honour and acknowledge local practices of wisdom wherever you are. It's like being invited to visit family living abroad - naturally and lovingly you respect them and their way of being.
It was an honour to be the professional photographer for Thom Knoles’ Australia tour last year, as my teacher and a dear friend. In respect to the traditional owners of the land around Gerringong, the Dharawal people, a day of ceremony and cultural education opened Thom’s annual meditation retreat. Part of this was a traditional smoking ceremony with local gum and fragrant native species, pictured here. Uncle Stan & Aunty Gwen gave us a warm welcome. They were very generous with their wisdom and love of this land.

If you feel like your life is only the straight and narrow - I invite you to explore that life is full of infinite options.
Allow yourself to fall and then jump back on track, or maybe you feel like changing direction entirely and that’s ok too.
Rigidity is not in the Vedic vocabulary, instead following what's charming is.
The more you are in line with yourself, your inner self, the easier your life will be. Vedic Meditation is just one tool you can use to find your own balance in the constant dance of life.
Where are you heading right now?
Are you enjoying it?
Is fear your fuel, or are your heart and intellect aligned?
Are you attached to the outcome?
These are always good questions to ask.

Pavani - Hyderabad, India - 2023
Pavani, daughter of Father Raju, comes from a long lineage of sought after Ayurvedic vaidyas (Ayurvedic doctors). Growing up around global peace icon Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, her life has often been in the spotlight, though Pavani and her family are nothing but humble and always ready to be of service.
Pavani is a very devoted vaidya working in an otherwise male dominated space, she treats all members of the community as well as specialising in women’s health.
Her family treated me personally over an extensive period in Hyderabad and she is now like a sister (akka) to me. I’m very grateful for the love and generosity of Pavani and the Raju family. Jai Guru Deva.

This little character has been keeping me company since I started meditating so it felt right they kept my newborn son company in his bedroom.
With a full heart I painted on our deck, savouring this view & creating space for the newest member of our family. I added layers of Vedic Wisdom and symbols for him to learn as he grows - can you spot them too?

What I took from this shoot together was how much I treasure that moment when a subject fully relaxes in front of the camera. It‘s the greatest compliment for me as a photographer. A special moment when they feel their fullest confidence and share their most authentic, unfiltered self. This is one of those and I hope it brings joy to your day.
