Theo got invited to his first school mate bday party so I said instead of a gift can our gift be cake and cookies? šŸ¤£ have to release my baking urge somehow lol

Made from scratch - vanilla cake, ermine buttercream, custard šŸ¤¤. Designed and 3dprinted unicorn cookie cutter, fondant hand painted sugar cookies.
Coated in edible glitter šŸ„³ (copper freešŸ˜‰)

Ermine buttercream uses less than HALF the sugar than American buttercream!
Note ermine buttercream hates oil based food colouring so it starts to split, oh well live & learn but kids donā€™t care and the taste is still perfect

Still proud of this one, never made it, never tried it just chose a cake on show list, found a recipe, entered the cake! Boom, Iā€™m a magician!

We love ermine buttercream, its smooth and soft icing but still pipes perfectly AND uses half the amount of sugar than American buttercream

I do love a baby shower!
Matching cookies to the invites - I saved the duck image from the e-invite & made it into a cookie cutter & then handmade the cookies! Who else loves matchy matchy, themes and finer details!?

Struggled making the cookies and cake, thought I failed as itā€™s been a while and we got a new house/old oven but although 30+ years old this chef oven is a beauty for baking!

White chocolate mud cake with fresh mango in the centre, a strawberry coulis on top with an ermine creamy buttercream frosting & organic gardenias from our garden, sprinkles and gold leaf & matching fondant vanilla sugar cookies hand painted.
All handmade, made from scratch ,cakes cookies and icing including coulis.
