🌟 Welcome to Week 7 of Term 3! 🌟

What a wonderful night we had at the St Joseph’s School and St Colman’s Parish Fete! A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a fantastic evening for our school, parish and wider community. It was wonderful to see so many families and community members enjoying the night together.

A very special thank you to our incredible staff and volunteers who gave up their own time in the lead-up to the fete, helping with preparations, organising, setting up and getting everything ready for the big night. We are also incredibly grateful to the many, many parents and volunteers who stayed on after the fete to help pack up and clean up. Your generosity and willingness to lend a hand was truly appreciated. 💙

We would also like to thank our FACE Committee for the time and energy they put into planning and organising the fete.

And finally, a huge thank you to our many wonderful sponsors. Your generous support helps make the St Joseph’s School and St Colman’s Parish Fete possible, and we are so grateful for your generosity and support.

🌟 Welcome to Week 6 of Term 3! 🌟

We have another busy week ahead as we continue our preparations for the much-anticipated School Fete!

This week we celebrate Bullying No Way Week, with our Bake Sale on Tuesday and Purple Dress-Up Day on Friday. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our students to promote kindness, inclusion and standing up for others.

We’re also busy with Rock Pop rehearsals throughout the week as our students prepare for their upcoming performances.

And, of course, the big event is our School Fete this Friday from 6:00–9:00pm! 🎉 We can’t wait to welcome our families and wider community for an evening of fun, food, entertainment and festivities. A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed their time, donations and support to help make the fete possible.

We look forward to seeing everyone there! 💙

🧁 SRC BAKE SALE – NEXT TUESDAY 18th of August! 🍪
As part of Bullying No Way Week, our SRC will be holding a Bake Sale on Tuesday 18th August.

There will be plenty of yummy treats available to purchase at first lunch, with each item costing just a gold coin donation. The stall will stay open until we’re sold out!

All money raised will go towards supporting future SRC initiatives and activities within our school.

Please note: this is separate to the bake sale for the Fete. Please bring in your plate for the Fete on Friday!

💜 PURPLE SHIRT FREE DRESS – FRIDAY 21st of August💜
To continue recognising Bullying No Way Week, students are also invited to wear a purple shirt with free dress next Friday - 21st of August.

We’re looking forward to a great week of coming together as a school community and showing that bullying is never okay! 💜

🐔 Ready... Set... CLUCK!

Think you've got what it takes to back a winner?

Before each race, our feathered athletes will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Then it's game on! The chickens will race (or perhaps casually stroll) towards the bowl of chicken feed.

First chicken to the food wins — and so does its owner! Bragging rights and a prize are up for grabs.

And we've heard a rumour that a three-legged chicken may be entering this year's races... We're not sure if it's faster, but it certainly has an unfair advantage when it comes to choosing which way to run!

So don't be chicken — get in on the bidding!
