AKA 60th Anniversary at Olympic Park Netball Central The 60th Anniversary celebrations will culminate in a major international event in Sydney 10–12 July 2026, headlined by Waka Sensei Mitsuteru Ueshiba, Dojo Cho of Aikido World Headquarters. This event will be a unifying gathering of all Aikido organisations in Australia affiliated with Aikikai Hombu Japan, showcasing the strength and unity of our extended community. This once-in-a-generation celebration offers a unique opportunity to honour the past, engage the present, and build the future of Aikido in Australia.

Please give a big round of applause to this dedicated team of mat layers at Caulfield Dojo. They reassembled 270 mats in a record 90 minutes on a 40+ degree windy day. It is volunteers like this that keep our schools running smoothly.

The best!!!

A huge thank you to the Mat Moving Team that met at Caulfield Dojo on Saturday morning. They dismantled and loaded around 270 top quality mats onto trucks for transportation to Melbourne Uni. That’s a lot of mats for such a small team 🙇💪💖
