Senior side🌿

We’ve been celebrating some special birthdays in the Evergreen and Kindi Room this week, and the excitement has been contagious! 🎉 The children were curious to find out how many candles each birthday friend got to blow out. Building on this interest, we extended our learning into creative play by setting up a special “Birthday Corner.” Here, the children designed their own birthday cards and crafted their own pretend birthday cakes turning celebrations into a fun and imaginative learning experience.

The Meadows children have been exploring the wonderful world of farm animals! 🐄🐑 They’ve enjoyed looking at farm animal window photos and practising the sounds each animal makes. In the room, Miss Bree treated everyone to a lively singalong of Old MacDonald Had a Farm. Jungle Room 🌿

This week was Dental Week, and our Jungle Room little explorers put their creativity to work! 🦷✨ Using white paint as “toothpaste” and a paintbrush as their “toothbrush,” they practised brushing a giant tooth. Not only did we learn about keeping our smiles healthy, but we also had loads of fun turning dental care into an art project!

Sensory Play with Kinetic Sand – Exploring Through Touch

Our Jungle friends have been busy engaging their sensory skills through a fun and calming kinetic sand experience. The children explored the unique texture by squeezing the sand between their fingers and rolling it in their hands. They used their creativity to shape, mold, and design their own little artworks, expressing themselves through touch and imaginative play. This activity not only supported fine motor development but also encouraged focus, relaxation, and self-expression.
