PLEASE NOTE St Joseph’s is currently conducting Parent-Teacher interviews and the school bell is set to go off every 15mins between 3:30pm and 5:30pm both Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

Today, our students enjoyed a quick visit across the road to admire the completed Clermont Tourism Group water tank mural project and what an incredible showcase of our region it is!
The stunning artwork beautifully captures so many iconic symbols of Clermont, including the Copperfield Chimney, Frank Finger and Annie the Muster Dog, the unique Northern Hairy-nosed wombat and the much-loved Theresa Creek Dam. Most importantly, the mural reflects the strong sense of community spirit that makes Clermont such a special place to live. Our students were fascinated by the detail and creativity on display and enjoyed seeing local stories, landmarks and characters brought to life through this remarkable community project. Congratulations to everyone involved in creating such a vibrant celebration of Clermont’s history, identity and united community.

Today we were blessed to welcome the fathers, grandfathers and special carers of our students to St Joseph’s School as we celebrated Father’s Day.
Through a beautiful prayer assembly, our Year 1 students gave thanks for the love, guidance and support of the important men in their lives. Following the assembly, fathers and carers of our Year 1 students enjoyed spending quality time in the classroom, sharing games, colouring activities and plenty of smiles with their children. As Father’s Day approaches this Sunday, we reflect on the example of St Joseph, a faithful and caring father who trusted in God and devoted himself to his family. We thank and pray for all fathers and carers, asking God to bless them as they continue to nurture, guide and inspire the children in their care.

📚🎭 Book Week Parade - Symphony of Stories 🎭📚
What a wonderful celebration of reading, imagination and creativity we enjoyed during our book week parade!

This year's CBCA Book Week theme, "Symphony of Stories," reminds us that every story has its own unique voice and that, together, stories create something truly magical.

Students and staff embraced the theme with enthusiasm, showcasing an incredible array of costumes inspired by beloved book characters and stories. From classic favourites to contemporary heroes, our parade highlighted the joy that books bring to our lives and the many ways stories connect us.

A huge thank you to our families for your support and creativity in helping prepare costumes, and congratulations to all of our students for the confidence, imagination and excitement they brought to the day.

May we continue to celebrate the power of stories to inspire, teach, entertain and bring us together.
