Au Pair Needed Griffith, NSW – Immediate Start
Adventurous Au Pair required for easy going, outdoorsy farming family of 4 children!

This family is looking for a Nanny who can engage and entertain their three children 5 days per week. In this role you will be working 40 hours per week, looking after children aged 7, 4.5, 2.5 years and a newborn. The two older children attend school approximately 45 minutes’ drive from the property. You would be required to complete school drop-offs and pick-up in an automatic vehicle provided by the family.

The family requires an outgoing, flexible person who can fit in with life on the farm and in the family home. The family would love someone who is organised, mature-minded, flexible and demonstrates good grammar and communication skills. They are searching for someone who can communicate openly, honestly, and confidently with parents and can engage and encourage children to participate in organised age-appropriate play-based learning. With a new bub on the way, Mum is searching for a Mary Poppins to help her keep the wheels rolling.

If you are someone who loves spending time outdoors, being creative, adventurous and doesn’t mind getting your hands dirty, then this is the family for you!

In this role you will have your own single bedroom within the large family home or self-contained cottage accommodation including kitchen, lounge room, bathroom and outdoor area or you may also choose to live off-farm in nearby towns. You will be provided with internet and phone. This position is $30-$35 per hour, through In Home Care.

This sheep, cattle and grain farm is located on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, 40 minutes from Griffith, NSW and 10 minutes from Darlington Point in the Riverina region. The Riverina region is a vibrant agricultural area renowned for its cellar doors, fresh produce and exciting Italian migrant history. It is located 370km South West of Sydney and 150km North West of Canberra. Regular domestic flights are available from Canberra and Wagga Wagga. Griffith has a population of approximately 28,000 people.

You will benefit socially and independently from having your own vehicle and drivers licence in this role.

- First Aid/CPR
- NSW Working with Children Check
- Federal Police Check
- Enrolled in a Certificate III children’s services or obtained already
 ABN
 Nanny insurance
 Minimum two referees with contact details
