We had a wonderful morning in Kindy celebrating all of our fathers, grandfathers and significant adults in our lives. It was a morning filled with much excitement, as we shared activities with our special visitors. Our Year 3 students enjoyed a wonderful excursion to Cockman House and the Wanneroo Regional Museum. At Cockman House, students stepped back in time as they explored one of Wanneroo’s oldest buildings and learned about life in the past. Students also visited the Wanneroo Regional Museum, where they explored fascinating exhibits showcasing the history, culture and development of the local area. It was a fantastic learning experience for the children!

We extend our congratulations to these children who received Outstanding Awards for their solo woodwind performances at the Catholic Performing Arts Festival. Each student performed two solo pieces in front of an audience and an adjudicator. These are amazing results and they should be very proud of their efforts.

What an exciting day at St Andrew’s! Our Year 4 students enjoyed a special visit from Channel 9 as part of the Weather Watchers program. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about weather forecasting and experience a little behind-the-scenes television magic. Thank you Channel 9, for making learning so engaging and fun! What a colourful and dazzling Assembly presented by our Year 1 students! They shared an important message about feelings, reminding us that it is okay to experience all emotions.
