John has a natural ability to create a safe, relational space where people feel seen, heard, and unencumbered in expressing their deepest concerns. John’s lived experience, combined with his academic and professional training, enables him to work skillfully with individuals and families who carry trauma histories. He is able to deconstruct presenting problems in a way that makes sense to the client, and to work collaboratively toward practical, meaningful steps that often bring immediate relief, while laying the groundwork for deeper therapeutic work over time.
