🔬🌱 Science Week was a blast! 🌱🔬

Our students celebrated Science Week with a fantastic lineup of hands-on activities, experiments and challenges, all centred around this year's theme, "Seeds of Science: Nurturing Knowledge for All."

From a Periodic Table Scavenger Hunt and exciting lunchtime experiments to investigating seeds and our much-loved Science Dress-Up Day, there was plenty of curiosity, creativity and discovery across the week.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make Science Week such a fun and inspiring celebration of science. Here's to continuing to ask questions, explore new ideas and grow a love of learning! 🧪

Snow adventure at Mount Stirling!

Our Year 7 & 8 Outdoor Education students recently headed to the stunning Mount Stirling for an unforgettable snow adventure!

Students embraced the thrill of cross-country skiing, enjoyed a variety of fun snow activities, and challenged themselves to develop valuable outdoor education skills. They built resilience, strengthened teamwork, stepped outside their comfort zones, and embraced new experiences in a spectacular alpine environment.

From learning new skills to sharing plenty of laughter, it was a day filled with adventure, growth, and memorable moments.

What an incredible opportunity for our students to build confidence, challenge themselves and create lifelong memories in the snow!

Our Grade 5 & 6 students had an unforgettable day exploring Melbourne Zoo, discovering incredible animals from around the world and learning about the importance of conservation.

From getting up close to amazing wildlife to engaging in hands-on learning experiences, the excursion was filled with curiosity, excitement and plenty of memorable moments.

A fantastic day of adventure, discovery and learning beyond the classroom!

Sweet Smells of Chemistry!

Our Unit 4 VCE Chemistry students explored the science behind esters by creating fragrant compounds from alcohols and carboxylic acids. From sweet pineapple to delicate jasmine aromas, the lab was filled with an incredible mix of scents as students brought organic chemistry to life through hands-on learning.
By the end of the lesson, it smelled more like a perfume boutique than a science lab!

The stage was set as our Grade 6 to Secondary students, led by the Bethel, Carmel, Tabor and Zion House Captains, brought their creativity to life in our annual House Performing Arts Showcase!

From original dramas and energetic musical performances to incredible student talent, each House competed for the judges' votes in creativity, performance and visual presentation. 🏆

After an afternoon filled with laughter, music, teamwork and unforgettable performances.

Congratulations to all Houses for their outstanding effort and a huge congratulations to Zion House, who took home the 2026 House Performing Arts Cup!

🎉 100 Days Brighter! 💯

Today our Prep students celebrated an exciting milestone – 100 Days of School!

The day was packed with fun as our Preps enjoyed making fairy bread, creating colourful garlands, spending special buddy time with their Grade 6 buddies, and taking part in activities throughout the day.

What a wonderful celebration of learning, friendship, and all that our youngest students have achieved in their first 100 days of school. We are so proud of each and every one of them!
