On Tuesday, our K-2 students enjoyed an amazing day out in Newcastle. Our students had a wonderful time exploring, discovering and learning through the interactive exhibits at the Newcastle Museum followed by a live show at the Civic Theatre. The students were captivated by the performance. Our day was filled with learning and laughter!

Thank you Gresford Public School for hosting the K-2 Science Week event! The students were enthralled with the reptiles from Lake Mac Zoo, and very engaged with the water bugs from Local Land Services. Our local environmental educator Sue taught the students to weave with natural fibres.

Our 3-6 students enjoyed Science Week 2026 with students from the Dungog Community of Schools. Students participated in reptile education with the Lake Macquarie Zoo, Water conservation with Hunter Water, bug identification surveys with Local Land Services, natural fibres and weaving with environmental educator Sue Price, and terrarium making with Ms Thomas.
