Our General Pathway students recently welcomed Martin Matthews, Site Manager with PS Constructions, to learn more about careers in the construction industry.

Martin shared his career journey, provided insights into the PERFORM project, and spoke about the skills and opportunities available across the industry. Students also had the chance to ask questions and gain a better understanding of what it takes to build a successful career in construction.

Congratulations to Jiarong Li (Year 10), Raymond Moswen (Year 9), Alessandro Di Giulio (Year 11) and Callum Chesson (Year 11) on achieving HSK Level 4 in Chinese.

This accomplishment demonstrates strong intermediate Chinese proficiency, with the ability to communicate on relatively complex topics using language that is accurate, appropriate and well-structured. HSK Level 4 is a valuable qualification that supports future study, exchange opportunities and career pathways involving China and the Chinese language.

Yesterday, our Year 12 students proudly received their 2026 Leavers Tops, marking another milestone in their final year at School.

This year's design features a special Indigenous artwork created by Year 12 students Kayde Kelly, Jeeo McGuire and Bodie Cox. The lizard represents the 2026 cohort, with its tracks symbolising the journey they have taken together and the individual paths that lie ahead. The water symbol reflects the Swan River, an important place for Noongar people and a central part of school life, while the meeting circle represents the friendships, connections and shared experiences formed along the way.

Hadley Hall was buzzing on Saturday as our Year 12 musicians took the stage alongside our bands and ensembles for an incredible night of music.

You could have heard a pin drop during this morning's Senior School Assembly as Year 12 student Lachie Winby delivered a moving cover of Linkin Park's One More Light.

Lachie was one of 12 performers who took to the stage at this year's Soli Concert on Saturday evening.

This morning, our Year 6 students and their fathers came together for breakfast in the Refectory, hosted by the Parents’ Association.

Head of Senior School Jamie Foster and Principal Alan Jones joined the breakfast, with Mr Foster sharing practical advice on supporting our Year 6 students as they prepare for the transition to Senior School.

It was a lovely opportunity for our families to connect, enjoy breakfast together and start thinking about the next stage of their CCGS journey.
