Claremont College Level 3 Science Camp
Students studying some of our level 3 Science subjects recently took part in a school fieldwork camp, visiting the Tamar Wetland Centre in Launceston, the Grange Mine in Savage River and Lake St Clair. The camp was an incredible opportunity for students to connect classroom learning with real-world environmental issues. Well done to the students who packed all of those experiences into a few days!

Opening Night August 20th

Frontline Electrical recently visited the Certificate II in Electrotechnology class to share insights into the diverse roles within their company and discuss future career opportunities in the electrical industry. As part of the presentation, students had the opportunity to try on high-voltage blast suits, which are used when working with and switching high-voltage equipment. They also gained hands-on experience by wiring a light fitting under the guidance of Frontline Electrical staff. The visit was highly engaging and provided valuable industry exposure for students. As a result of their participation and enthusiasm, several students have been offered work placement opportunities with the company during Term 3.

Our Visual Art students once again have the opportunity to showcase their works at The School of Creative Arts, Hunter Street, Hobart. This exhibition provides students with a platform to present their artwork in a professional gallery setting, highlighting their creativity and dedication. We warmly invite members of our school community to attend the exhibition opening on Tuesday 28 July. For those unable to join us for the opening event, we encourage you to visit the gallery and experience the outstanding work of our talented students.
