Last night, our students and staff took part in the Light Night Glow Run/Walk, and what a fun night it was!

It was wonderful to see so many of our school community getting involved and having fun. There were plenty of smiles, colourful lights and lots of energy as everyone made their way around the course.

We are already looking forward to doing it all again next year!

A big thank you to Football Tasmania and Basketball Tasmania for delivering sessions for our students.

Swimming and Water Safety Program
Our Swimming and Water Safety Program commences on Monday, September 7, and will run through to Friday, September 18 at the Oceana Aquatic and Fitness Centre in Mornington.

This program is compulsory for all students in Years 3, 4, and 5, as well as selected Year 6 students.

To ensure your child is prepared each day, please make sure they bring the following:
• Swimming gear- bathers, goggles and a swimming cap (caps will be provided if needed)
• A towel and plastic bag for wet clothes.
• Any required medication.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to develop essential water safety skills and build confidence in the water.

🔬🌈 Science Week in Kinder Clifton! 🌈🔬

In Kinder Clifton we have been having fun exploring different materials and reactions as part of science week!

We used our curiosity and noticing skills to ask questions (hypothesise) and make predictions about what would happen in our experiments.

Some of our experiments included ooblek, colouring celery to see how plants drink water, walking rainbows, volcanos, cleaning coins and many more!

We were fantastic scientists! 🧪✨

Ten of our Year 5/6 students proudly represented our school yesterday at the Term 3 Interschool Chess Tournament at Brighton High. Our team displayed tremendous skills and resilience to finish the day in first place! Extra congratulations to Riley who fiished the day undefeated to be the individual champion ♟️

📚🎨 Colourful Creations in LiL and Pre-Kinder! 🎨📚

Our LiL and Pre-Kinder children have been busy exploring colour, creativity and collaboration! Using eye droppers and coloured dyes, the children experimented with mixing colours to create new shades and effects, gradually contributing to a beautiful shared artwork over several weeks.

This engaging experience supported curiosity, fine motor skill development and teamwork, with every child playing a part in creating the final masterpiece. We are so proud of their creativity and enthusiasm!

If you have a child approaching school age, our early years programs are a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn and play together.

📍 LiL (Launching into Learning): Monday and Friday, 1:30pm - 2:50pm
📍 Kinder Gym: Monday, 9:00am - 10:00am
📍 Pre-Kinder: Friday, 9:00am - 10:00am
