Bracing for a good cause – our Year 12 leaders and staff are taking on the Ice Plunge Challenge.
On Thursday, 24 September, on the Chapel Lawn, students and staff will brave ice water to raise funds for Jesuit Mission's work in Hazaribag, India.
Every $250 raised sends another staff-and-student pair into the ice. Reach $7,500 and a surprise plunger joins the challenge. Hit $10,000 and Principal Mr Mahon takes the drop himself. Our goal this year is $15,000.
Funds raised support Jesuit Mission's work bringing education and opportunity to children in Hazaribag, where classrooms, teachers and resources are limited. $20 provides a month of learning materials for 100 students. $100 covers a full year of schooling for one child, and $225 funds a teacher's wage for a month.
