📚✨ Book Week at Clare

What a special morning we had this morning as we celebrated the end of Book Week with our students, families and community.

Our Book Week Parade was filled with creativity, favourite characters and plenty of smiles, followed by a wonderful morning of sharing stories and spending time together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our staff for creating such a welcoming celebration of books, imagination and community. ❤️

❄️ Year 11 Snow Trip ❄️

Our Year 11 students from both Clare and Balaklava campuses came together for an incredible snow trip, making the most of every opportunity to explore, experience and immerse themselves in all the activities on offer.

From new challenges to plenty of laughs and unforgettable moments, it was wonderful to see students stepping outside their comfort zones, trying new things and building connections across our two campuses.

A huge thank you to our staff for the care, encouragement and support they provided throughout the trip. We’re so grateful for the time and energy they invested in making it such a memorable experience for our students. 🏔️❄️

📚 Book Week is coming to Clare next week! 📚

We have lots of exciting things planned for our community, including Storytime in the Cottage on Monday night and our Book Week Parade on Friday! We can’t wait to celebrate the magic of books, stories and reading together. 📖✨

Big things are happening at Horizon Clare, and it’s all happening step by step! 👏

We’re continuing to invest in our resources and facilities, including the recent upgrades to our Tech Centre. These improvements are giving our students even more opportunities for hands-on learning right here on campus.

Here are our Year 10 students in the final stages of their woodworking assignments as part of Tech Studies, an elective subject available to our secondary students.

A big thank you to Miss Mott for her efforts to improve upon and make this happen for our students 🔨

We are incredibly grateful for our wonderful SSOs and the invaluable support they provide to our school community each and every day. From caring for our students and assisting our staff to supporting our families in countless ways, they consistently go above and beyond with kindness, dedication and generosity.

Thank you for all that you do to make Horizon such a welcoming and supportive place for everyone. We appreciate you!

What a night to remember.

Our Bush Dance brought together students, families and the wider community for an evening filled with great food, live music, dancing and plenty of laughter. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying time together while supporting our school fundraiser.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible staff, volunteers and students who worked behind the scenes to prepare food, run stalls and keep the dancing going all night. Events like these are only possible because of our amazing school community.
