For our primary school kids, it’s about noticing when a friend might need a little extra care, taking the time to listen, and knowing that it’s always OK to ask for help.

Dear God,

Today we give thanks for all the men in our Holy Spirit community who have helped shape our lives with love, patience and care. We thank You for dads, grandfathers, uncles, stepdads and all those who have been a father figure to us.

We also remember the mothers and women who lovingly carry the role of both parents, giving their children strength, guidance and support. We hold in our hearts those fathers who are no longer with us, and we pray for anyone who may find Father’s Day a difficult time.

Bless all those who encourage us, protect us, teach us and stand beside us. May they know how much they are loved, valued and appreciated — today and every day.

What a Friday! Celebrating our Dads at Holy Spirit!

A huge thank you to our amazing staff, parents and P&F for putting on a fantastic morning for our Dads, Grandads, Uncles and father figures!

🥓 Delicious bacon & egg rolls
⛪ A beautiful Father’s Day Mass
✈️ Our inaugural Paper Airplane Competition - and we’re sure this will become bigger and better each year!

Our students also made some very special Father’s Day creations. Our Kindy children proudly displayed their portraits of their Dads in our Fairy Garden and even created a very cool hat for Mr Will, decorated by all our Kindy kids! 🎩💙

Wishing all our Dads, Grandads, Uncles and father figures a very Happy Father’s Day for tomorrow! We hope you have a wonderful day - you deserve it! 💙

🤠🌵 YEEHAW! The Wild West Disco is coming to Holy Spirit! 🌵🤠

Get your boots, hats and best cowboy moves ready! Our P&F Wild West Disco is riding into the School Hall on Friday, 18 September, and it’s going to be a rip-roarin’ good time! 🎶🐴

⭐ Kindy & Pre-Primary: 2.00pm – 2.50pm (during school time)
⭐ Year 1 – Year 3: 3.15pm – 4.15pm
📍 School Hall
🎟️ Tickets: $7 per child - more information via SEQTA

There’ll be dancing, heaps of Wild West fun, awesome prizes up for grabs and, of course, every little cowboy and cowgirl will receive a special goodie bag to take home! 🤠🎁

🎶 Good luck, Year 2! 🎭✨

Wishing our wonderful Year 2 students the very best of luck as they take to the stage for their Catholic Performing Arts Festival (CPAF) 'Princess & The Pea' performance! 🌟. Yesterday our whole school was lucky enough to watch their final dress rehearsal and WOW - what a show - they were so impressive!

It has been such a fantastic term of music and performance at Holy Spirit, with so many of our students sharing their talents across CPAF events - from Electric Spirits band performance to piano, guitar, violin and drums, to solo vocals, duet vocals, choir and, of course, our fabulous Year 2 play performance! 🎹🎸🎻🥁🎤. Thank you to Mrs Leith, Mrs Mouchemore, Dom Papa and all our fabulous music tutors for getting our students ready!

And did you know that more than 70% of our students at Holy Spirit learn a musical instrument? 🤩. Music is such a HUGE part of life at Holy Spirit and we absolutely love seeing our students develop their confidence, creativity and love of performing.

We couldn’t be prouder of every student who has stepped onto the stage this term. Break a leg, Year 2 - go out there and shine! ⭐🎶

2026 Athletics Carnival

What a fantastic day we had at McGillvray Oval last Friday! Our students were amazing from start to finish - whether they were competing, cheering on their Guild, or getting involved in the novelty events!

A huge congratulations to everyone who participated and gave it their all. From the 400m to the relays and plenty of fun-filled novelty events, there was so much energy, enthusiasm and Guild spirit on display!

💙 Father’s Day Breakfast & Mass at Holy Spirit! 💙

A reminder to all our amazing Dads, Grandads and Father Figures to celebrate our Father’s Day Breakfast this Friday 4 September, 7.30am to 8.30am!

All our parents are then invited to join us for a whole School Mass which will take place in the Holy Spirit Church at 9am. Following Mass will be our inaugural paper airplane comp - start designing and making those planes everyone!
