Great feedback from our second workshop this week with everyone saying they’d recommend the workshop to other year 7 students ✨ Reasons included:
> “It answers lots of my questions”
> "Now I know how to use a growth mindset”
> "It makes you excited and helps you learn how to organise yourself and manage your time effectively”
> "It helped me understand deep stuff”
> "Because it helps a lot and is a friendly environment to learn in”

We also ran our first online workshop for year 7’s in Sydney, with some very positive feedback including:
>"It got my confidence up to meet new people and not to be afraid to ask questions”
>"It helped me understand how to manage myself"

Our first 'High School Hacks' workshop was a great success and there was plenty of positive feedback from year 7 students who participated!

Plenty of fun, energy and sharing of ideas to help them feel confident and positive about starting their secondary education journey.

‘High School Hacks’ Workshop
For Perth students transitioning to high school in 2021.

This fun and interactive 3 hour workshop will enable your child to gain knowledge, skills and practical tips to help them feel confident and positive about starting high school.

Key focus areas include: Managing change, navigating friendships, embracing a growth mindset, time management, problem solving and resilience.

Meet your Coach & Mentor - Leah Broderick! 💡💬

Leah feels privileged to work with people who are curious and motivated to exploring and discovering new ways forward in their lives and achieve their goals.

Leah started her working life as a secondary education teacher, working in a number of private and public schools in WA and the United Kingdom. Since then she has completed a post graduate diploma in health promotion and a diploma in coaching, mentoring and facilitation. She has worked in a range of roles focusing on improving the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities.

Leah has gained a broad skillset and knowledge base from her varied professional work along with her experience of competing at an international sporting level for four years.
