Join us for the Inaugural SA Flexi School Ice Hockey Tournament as the Flamingos, Chiefs and Ice Cobras hit the ice for an action-packed day of competition, teamwork and fun.

We're getting ready to celebrate kindness, respect and inclusion with our FAME Buddy Colour Run! 🎉✨

As we count down to the event, here are a few important reminders for all participants:

✅ Return your permission slip to your Youth Worker
✅ Wear closed shoes 👟
✅ Bring a plain white T-shirt 🎨 (get ready for some colour!)
✅ Speak to your Class Youth Worker if you have any questions

🌿 Exciting Opportunity for First Nations YP! 🌿

On Tuesday 11th August at 1:00pm, FAME will be hosting a special presentation for First Nations young people aged 15 years+

Jasmin from TtW Noarlunga will be sharing information about a program designed to support young people through:
✅ Life skills development
✅ Further education opportunities
✅ Community connections
✅ Employment pathway programs

🚲 Custom Cruiser Creations 🚲

CCC is a FAME incentive program designed to encourage young people to get involved in hands-on activities, learn new skills, and work together as a team to build a custom cruiser.

It has been fantastic to see the YP's fully engage in the program, develop their skills, and support one another throughout the journey. The teamwork, creativity, and dedication shown by everyone involved have been outstanding.

👏 Well done to all participants on your hard work and achievements. You should be proud of what you've accomplished!

✨ Welcome to Term 3! ✨

We would like to welcome all students, families, and staff back for an exciting Term 3. We hope everyone had a safe and relaxing break and is ready for another fantastic term of learning, growth, and fun.

Community partnership in action! 🤝🔥

Through the Bunnings Community Incentive, FAME has once again had the opportunity to work alongside Bunnings Warehouse Australia to support a local community service. Our young people teamed up with the Bunnings crew to build a BBQ for Second Chances, after they identified the need for a dedicated BBQ area to support their programs and community activities.

This project provided a fantastic opportunity for our young people to develop practical skills, give back to the community, and connect with others in a meaningful way.

A huge thank you to Bunnings for their ongoing support and partnership, and to Second Chances for allowing us to be part of this wonderful project.

📣 Novita School Leavers Open Day – Christies Beach 📣

Families and students are invited to attend the Novita TTW (Transition to Work) Open Day!

🗓 Date: 8th July
🕓 Time: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
📍 Location: Christies Beach

This open day is a wonderful opportunity for students and family members who are NDIS recipients to explore available supports, learn about transition pathways, and discover new services.

Our Skills and Pathways Trainer, Karen, will ALSO be attending to stay informed on the latest updates and opportunities available to support our students.

We encourage families to come along, ask questions, and connect with the services that can make a real difference for future pathways.

💙 Making a Difference, One Step at a Time! 💙

Our incredible Year 12 Volunteer students have been busy putting compassion into action!

They proudly presented over $250 to CANTEEN, raised through last term’s Op-Shop sale - an amazing effort supporting young people impacted by cancer. 👏

The day of giving didn’t stop there. The group then headed to Hutt St Centre to contribute to their Winter Appeal, donating much-needed essentials including food, socks, beanies, and warm clothing to help those doing it tough this winter. 🧦🧣🧥

And to top it all off, the team finished the day by showing their support rink side - cheering on the Fame Flamingos at the Ice Factor SA tournament! 🦩🎉 (Pics coming soon!)

This experience forms part of their volunteer hours, but more importantly, it highlights the kindness, community spirit, and leadership of our students. We’re so proud of the positive impact they’re making! 💫
