𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 – 𝗪𝗔 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 🌱

We’re really excited to have a new range of seeds from 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, a Western Australian grower and seller with a big focus on sustainability and growing local.

Their seeds are 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻-𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱, with a fantastic range of vegetables, herbs and some more unusual varieties too – from tomatoes, cucumbers and pumpkins to purple kohl rabi, heirloom eggplants, chillies and even ashwagandha.

And because they’re open-pollinated, you can save seeds from your harvest to grow again – something we think is pretty special. 🌱

We love being able to support another WA business while giving our local gardeners more choice.

Indigo Rose tomato’s - we grew buckets and buckets last year! They were super productive. Lucky for you we harvested plenty of seed too so you can get some growing in your garden this summer. A day in the life of a gardener - it’s not all about huge hauls of perfect produce collected and preserved every day. For us it’s about picking what we need when we need it, and swapping and sharing with friends and neighbours. This is what food sovereignty looks like in practice. Not complete self sufficiency, not overwhelming, just good, clean food there when we need it. Heres what a day can look like 👉

Shop brought salmon. Eggs from our hens, homegrown asparagus, herbs and some lemons from our neighbours tree, he has lots of established fruit trees so while our trees are still young its lovely to trade our honey and seeds 💚

Just some raw veggie sticks and dips, quick, simple and tasty. Its avo season and we are blessed to have 2 avo farms nearby so lots of guacamole 🥑🥑🥑

Gorgeous speckled cranberry beans we grew last year …the dried beans themselves are just as pretty as the pods. They can be used as fresh pods or great for a dried bean. Sunrise bumble - A striped cherry tomato that's as pretty as it is productive.

We pulled the last plants out just last month. They went in last spring and were still producing right through to mid-winter.
Small fruit, big flavour, and the kind of reliability that makes you want to save the seeds every single year — which is exactly what we did. 🌱

Always digging holes in inappropriate places😅 although got top marks for catching grasshoppers that were eying up the corn seedlings🦗🦗🦗💚our little Carnarvon special 🐶 from SAFE Carnarvon ❤️
