The Big rainbow tomatoes were over achievers all last summer, and they are one step ahead of me this spring as they have already self-sown themselves before spring has even started and have flowers already! 2nd and 3rd pic are some of the scrumptious fruits harvested, we saved plenty of seed from this variety last summer so you can head to our website and buy a packet to try at your place ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Wholesale orders packed up and ready to go for Green Life Soil Co Perth WA and Down2Earth ! Thereโ€™s heaps of really interesting summer varieties in these boxes, so be sure to check out their stock.
Weโ€™re really grateful to these guys for supporting our small business and WA-grown seeds. Green Life Soil Co are the place to go for good quality soils for growing veggies, and you can find Down2earth at various farmers markets theyโ€™ll also be at the Kalamunda Garden Festival in September. Julie and Gary are a great couple and are always willing to share advice.

Episode 3 of Thesoulgarden podcast is live - Two Landscapes, one philosophy: Lessons from the Pilbara and a regenerative mango farm with Robyn Todd. My idea for interviewing guests on the podcast was to feature ordinary people doing extraordinary things, and Robyn from Araluen mangoes certainly fits that bill. She's a community builder, an absolute sponge for knowledge, and brings her amazing energy, can do attitude and ideas to this episode.
We spoke about Robyn's years growing food and running a community garden up in the Pilbara, and her recent move to running a regenerative mango farm north of Perth. She shares some wonderful words of wisdom gained from her varied experiences.
Pictured is Robyn and the Mango trees flowering early this year, the two trouble makers, some very healthy garlic, the stunning ornamental gardens and aloes and feathered friends.

A rare event took place last Friday, I left the farm to go for a girl's weekend to Margaret River ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ’ƒ, while I was down there took the opportunity to pop in to visit one of our regional suppliers Lazarus Horticulture Services
Such a treat to finally catch up with Sam in person and hear about his plans for the nursery, exciting things brewing down there! Dropped off a delivery of seeds while I was at it, so they're well stocked up if you're in the area and want to grab some in person.
Couldn't resist sneaking a quince tree and a couple of other beauties into the car for the trip home either... the hazards of visiting a lovely well-kept independent nursery ๐Ÿ˜… Well worth a visit if you're in the Margaret River region.

If I could tell every new gardener one thing, it'd be this: start small. Big plans lead to big overwhelm (and a lot of unattended weeds). ๐ŸŒฑ We dig into this and more beginner tips in the full episode. Give it a listen and hit subscribe for more ๐ŸŽง Link to podcast in bio
