Starting Day 2 of the DATA CHAMPIONS course here @ Barker College in Sydney!

It’s an 8 day course (2 days per term) learning about educational data and how to:
- be data literate
- to present data visually
- to tell engaging and meaning stories using data!
- lead educational change!

This is done through a project of your choice… I’ve met some AMAZING 🤩 people from schools all around the place making waves in the data space at their schools!

Yes! I love that AERO has Management resources as well as Curriculum ones!

This is definitely the hottest topic I’ve come across when mentoring not only early career teachers but experienced teachers too!

My tip: listen and read ALL the strategies you can find (even if you think they don’t align with your style at the moment.. this is never static) , bank these strategies and revisit them each year, maybe challenge yourself to try a new strategy each term … no class , school or student is the same so ALWAYS have your bank of strategies on hand!!
