Here is a resource for your anatomy that gives you the foundations of the human body. By memorising the simplified mechanical representations of the human form here in this book you will never need a reference for how to draw a body in a position that you imagine.

Initially when you are studying these drawings (copying and replicating) you will notice a sense of your creativity being restricted, its a normal response to have and one you'll have to just let it lye for a while. What you're doing here is gaining knowledge and skills which you will never forget.
No matter what happens with your creativity you'll always be able to refer back to these simplified forms which is a great help when you take a few months of drawing and feel as if you lost all your ability.


I cant even count the amount of times i have taken a break from drawing for a few months or so (always a good thing) and come back to drawing feeling like i have lost of sense of proportion and everything that once came so easily now trickled out like solid maple syrup.
