🌸💛 HAPPY EDUCATORS’ DAY 2026! 💛🌸

Tomorrow the 2nd of September we celebrate the amazing people who make Chinchilla Community Kindergarten what it is — our incredible team! 🌈

Early childhood education is so much more than a job. It’s messy hands, big imaginations, little voices asking “why?” approximately 472 times a day 😂, comforting cuddles, celebrating milestones, wiping tears, joining in the fun and creating a safe place where every child can learn, grow and simply be themselves. 🥰

And behind all of those special moments is a team of truly wonderful people.

🌟 Miss Lee
Our calm, caring and dedicated leader who works tirelessly behind the scenes and in the Kindy rooms to make sure our children, families and educators are supported. There is never a job too big, too small or too unexpected! 💛

🌸 Mrs Waters
Bringing a wealth of teaching experience to our team, Sarah shares her knowledge, warmth and patience with both our children and fellow educators. Her experience and caring nature help create an environment where our little people feel safe, confident and ready to explore, learn and grow. 🌱💛

🌸 Mrs Storch
With her nurturing nature and wonderful connection with our children and families, Natalie brings so much heart to our Kindy community. 💕

🌸 Mrs Sorensen
Creative, caring and always ready to jump into the children's world, Chelsea helps turn everyday moments into opportunities for learning, discovery and fun! ✨

🌸 Mrs Briggs
With patience, kindness and plenty of enthusiasm, Cassidy brings a beautiful energy to our Kindy days and helps our children feel supported as they learn and grow. 🌈

Always ready to lend a helping hand, Melissa brings care, compassion and a wonderful sense of fun to our Kindy family. 💛

Creative, thoughtful and passionate about making learning meaningful, Christi has a special way of turning children's ideas and interests into wonderful learning experiences. 🎨✨

Bringing kindness, enthusiasm and a genuine love of working with our little learners, Amanda is an important part of the special team we have here at Kindy. 🌸

With her caring nature, positivity and willingness to get involved, Kristy helps make our Kindy a place where children can feel confident, curious and excited to learn. 🌟

Together, you are the people behind the paint-covered hands, muddy shoes, big laughs, curious questions, proud moments, comforting cuddles and countless little memories that make Kindy so special. 🥹💕

To our whole team — thank you for everything you do, every single day. Thank you for the patience, the passion, the creativity, the laughter, the hard work and, most importantly, the love you show our children.

Yesterday, Miss Lee and Miss Kristy proudly represented Chinchilla Community Kindergarten at the Chinchilla Careers Expo, hosted by CCCI.

Our display highlighted the rewarding role of an Early Childhood Educator, giving students and visitors an insight into the many ways our educators support children's learning, development, confidence, and wellbeing during their early years.

It was wonderful to speak with so many students and community members about careers in early childhood education, answer questions, and share our passion for helping children learn and grow. We hope we inspired a few future educators along the way! 🌱📚

A huge thank you to CCCI for hosting another fantastic Careers Expo and providing local organisations with the opportunity to showcase the diverse career pathways available in our community.

FRIDAY the 24th of JULY is a PUPIL FREE DAY at Kindy as noted on our C & K calendar for 2026. There is NO KINDY on this day! Our staff will be accessing professional development on this day. We will see all our families next week on Wednesday the 29th of July 😀😀

✨ Community supporting community! ✨

We are incredibly grateful to the Chinchilla Aero Club for their very generous donation towards our playground upgrade fundraising project.

Thanks to the support of local organisations like the Chinchilla Aero Club, we're one step closer to creating an even more engaging, inclusive and exciting outdoor learning environment for the children at Chinchilla Community Kindergarten. Every contribution brings us closer to making this vision a reality.

🌟 That's a wrap for Term 2! 🌟

What an incredible term it's been at Chinchilla Community Kindergarten! 💙 We've loved watching our little learners grow in confidence, curiosity and friendships while creating so many wonderful memories together.

A big thank you to our amazing children, families and educators for another fantastic term.

We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved break filled with fun, laughter and quality time with family and friends. Stay safe, make lots of memories, and we'll be ready to welcome all of our smiling faces back in 2 weeks for another exciting term of learning and adventure!

📅 Reminder to our Kindy families that Friday the 22nd May is the Chinchilla Show Public Holiday 🎡🎠

Chinchilla Kindy will be closed for the day, and we hope everyone enjoys the long weekend and all the fun of the Show! 🌟

Our children and educators have put in so much creativity and effort into bringing it to life, and we’d love for our Kindy families to see it!

🤠🐴 Rodeo Fun at Chinchilla Kindy! 🐴🤠

Our Kindy kids have been busy “rodeoing” for the past few days and having an absolute ball! From stick horse riding to rodeo games and plenty of cowboy and cowgirl fun, there have been smiles all around. 🌵⭐

We love seeing the children use their imaginations, build confidence and enjoy active play with their friends.

A massive thank you to Matty Jack from BM and MJ Davies Welding for supplying the steel, and to WDC for providing the welder to help Beau and Lacee bring this project to life.

Thank you also to Vahsi Hair, and of course our amazing Kindy parents, Beau and Lacee, who have spent countless hours welding, spray painting and putting in an incredible effort so our Kindy kids could have their very own rodeo chute! 🤠🐴

🌟 2028 Kindy Enrolments Now Open! 🌟

Chinchilla Community Kindergarten is a stand-alone, community-run kindergarten, and we are now accepting 2028 enrolments.

We offer a Pre-Prep Kindy program for children who will be turning 4 by 30 June 2028.

Places fill quickly, so contact the Kindy to request an enrolment form.

We look forward to welcoming new families to our Kindy community! 💛
