As part of The Resilience Project, our Year 7–10 students have been learning about the importance of Empathy – understanding and appreciating the feelings and experiences of others.

This week's GEM Chat encourages families to slow down, connect, and recognise the people around us who make a difference in our lives. 💚

Try one of these conversation starters at home this week:

✨ Thank each family member for something they've done or said today.
✨ Give each family member a compliment.
✨ Share a time when someone showed you kindness this week and how it made you feel.
✨ Talk about someone special in your life and what makes them special.
✨ Who helped you feel cared for this week, and what did they do?

These simple conversations can help build stronger relationships, encourage kindness, and create a greater understanding of one another.

Because of your generosity, support and community spirit, we are thrilled to announce that we raised $3,546, exceeding our fundraising goal! 🎉

Every dollar raised helps support Cancer Council's vital research, prevention programs and services for those impacted by cancer.
