As your all aware we were unfortunately unable to hire a local premises to get this local service up & going in Chinchilla, QLD for 2021.
But as most would know & for those whom don’t, other than being both qualified in Childcare Stacey & I are both work in the Disability Support Work caring for local clients.
I own Helping Hands Support Work.
So if your needing assistance for your child or family member & have NDIS funding reach out we both would be able to assist you. I also work with local Aged Care Client’s so if you have ACAT funding I’m able to help you. Much love & a Merry Christmas 🎄

Just an update for all following our page hoping we will be up and running shortly. Unfortunately we haven’t had any luck in hiring a suitable premises. We did ask Chinchilla State School to hire the hall and told it had to be approved by a regional office we hadn’t heard back & in the meantime we have read in the school newsletter this update of a new service being provided in the New Year. (As attached!)

Update we have heard back from the Parish of Lady Help of Christians and they have advised their premises (church hall) is unsuitable for use for the purpose of local Before and After School Care.
So at this stage we still do not have a premises to operate.

Just an update on our process of trying to hire a suitable premises to commence our Before & After School Care.

Chinchilla Presbyterian Church isn’t currently an option with COVID-19.

St Cecilias Anglican Church Hall isn’t an option, indefinitely.

Chinchilla State School sounds promising and we are awaiting a further response.

Please send back those Expression of Interest forms so we can collect the data for the demand and need in Chinchilla.

Good Afternoon,

Stacey & I (Danielle) are proposing opening a Before & After School Care Program for the local children of Chinchilla.

We are currently in the process enquiring about hiring the State School Hall or alternatively a local Church Hall for the purpose of running a Before & After School Care Service, obtaining permissions and gathering Expression of Interests from parents and families to see if this is a viable opportunity.

We are considering the hours of 6:30am-to start of school and 3pm to 6:30pm Monday to Friday.
We are also interested in running a Vacation Care program during the school holidays the hours yet to be negotiated to the local need and demand.

I will be adding an Expression of Interest form to collect data on days, hours & which care is required.
Like all small business it takes word of mouth and locals to get behind us to get our ideas into action.
