BDSSS Touch Football – Term 3

Well done to all six Bundy Sport Touch Football teams on their efforts throughout the Term 3 competition!

Our students continue to display great teamwork, sportsmanship and determination each week. With 1 week of competition remaining and potential finals in Week 10, we wish all teams the best for a strong finish!

Regional Schools Cup – Open Girls

Our Open Girls team had a great day competing at the Regional Schools Cup Netball Competition!

With students from a range of year levels coming together, the girls worked well as a team and supported one another throughout the competition. They showed plenty of determination, teamwork and school spirit across the day.

A great effort from all of our players and a wonderful opportunity to represent our school on the netball court. Well done, girls!

Thank you to Miss Cav and Miss Currie for all the work behind the scenes training our students and organising the teams. We also extend our thanks to Bundaberg SHS for organising and hosting the Regional Schools Cup and providing our students with a fantastic opportunity to compete.

Regional Schools Cup - Junior Mixed

A fantastic day on the court for our Junior Mixed Netball team at the Regional Schools Cup!

For many of our students, this was their first experience playing in an organised netball competition. It was great to see them embrace the opportunity, work together as a team and grow in confidence throughout the day.

We are very proud of the way they represented our school, showing great teamwork, enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Well done to all involved!

A big thank you to Miss Currie for the time and effort put into training the students and organising our team for the competition. Thank you also to Bundaberg SHS for hosting and organising a great day of netball! 🏐

Our Year 12 VHT students have completed their final round of the MasterChef competition.

For the final round students had to create a dish using true botanical berries meaning strawberries, blackberries and raspberries were off the table. Students had to get creative with other ingredients that are scientifically classified as berries.

From bananas, passionfruit to even pumpkin, there was a range of creative and delicious dishes showcasing the unique botanical berries.

A huge congratulations to all the students for their hard work throughout the 6-week competition. Well done!

And a massive thank you to our judges for taking the time to be a part of the competition.

Regional Schools Cup Netball – Open Boys

A big congratulations to our Open Boys Netball team on their efforts at the Regional Schools Cup!

The boys put in a huge effort throughout the day, competing hard in every game and continuing to give their best right through to the final whistle.
It was fantastic to see their teamwork, determination and positive attitude on display. Well done to all of the boys on a great day of competition and for representing our school with pride! 👏
