Come on this mural journey with me! From a huge 37m² blank canvas to a unique and colourful corner of our town, this project has been an adventure through rain, shine, and even blistering winter heat. Huge thanks to Integrated Disability Support Services in Childers for making this possible. 🎨✨

Not too bad for my first large mural! Like most artists I do tend to look at the final product and see all the things wrong with it, but I'm trying to see the positive side in this work this time. Sure it's not perfect and I still have a few things to tinker with here and there. But overall this wall has been transformed from a blank space to a space of colour and uniqueness.

I look forward to the next one.

There is so much more to mural work than painting a wall. Weeks (or months) of planning, client meetings, scaling the image, and getting it onto the wall before even a lick of paint is set down!

But it's all part of very enjoyable process as an artist, and I look forward to even more in the future.

Childers might be a small town, but it’s got biiiig heart 🧡

Our street library means a lot to us. It was built by our participants at the Men’s Shed after the old one copped a beating from the weather.

The structure was solid, it just needed a bit of life.

The wonderful Lucy Train Portraits came and added her touch, making it colourful and giving it the attention it deserves.

There's nothing better than community supporting community 🎨

It was tricky to take pictures in the early morning sun, it's so hot all year round here with autumn being no exception....
