Cherrybrook Technology High School was established in 1992 and quickly gained a reputation as one of the most innovative and successful comprehensive high schools in the State. Students at the school achieve outstanding HSC results.

Hayley I (year 8) truly shone at the Australian Dance Festival just over a week ago. Over thousands of dancers across the ADF workshops, each choreographer selects just one standout performer to take the stage at the Dance Around the World competition and Hayley was one of those chosen. This is a huge achievement in the dance world and performed in front of a sold out crowd in Homebush. Congratulations Hayley!

2 DAYS TO GO! Breakfast of Champions! Year 12 came together over breakfast to reflect, reminisce and celebrate their final week of activities before the much-anticipated Year Advisor & Deputy Principal “Alternate and Fun-Filled” Awards were handed out! With plenty of laughs, memories and a few surprises along the way, our Year 12 students then headed off with their yearbooks in hand to prepare for the moment they’ve all been waiting for — Graduation! What an incredible way to celebrate the final chapter of their school journey.

The CTHS Year 12 Countdown is officially down to just 3 days! The weather may be a little dull, but nothing could dampen the excitement of our Year 12 students as they embrace the fun of ‘Under the Sea’ and enjoy their much-anticipated Picnic Day! Cherishing friendships, sharing great food, and making those final high school memories together — moments that will be cherished long after the HSC is over. In a challenging Knockout Girls Cricket match played under overcast and wet conditions, Hornsby Girls (3/229) secured a victory over Cherrybrook Technology (8/158). A special mention goes to Alisha D, who earned Player of the Match honours with an impressive 47 runs, anchoring the innings with skill and composure. Well done to all the girls for their hard work and dedication!

Last week, our talented Cherrybrook Technology High School athletes showcased their determination and skill at the prestigious Combined High Schools Athletics Carnival held at the Homebush Athletics Centre. Competing against the best young athletes across the state, our students performed admirably, making both their families and CTHS incredibly proud. Congratulations to all our competitors for their outstanding efforts: Jason Y, Kyle H, Nisini R, Olivia C, Matthew S, Harrison C, Ryan F, Carter M, Clive B, Leon E, Marcus C and Elias G.

A special congratulations goes to the following students who achieved remarkable success by finishing in the top three and bringing home medals — an outstanding accomplishment at this elite level of competition:
Nisini R – Silver medal in Discus and Bronze medal in High Jump
Clive B, Leon E, Marcus C, Elias G – Gold medal in the 13 Boys 4x100m Relay
Harrison C, Ryan F, Carter M, Jason Y – Gold medal in the 12 Boys 4x100m Relay
Well done to each of these athletes for their exceptional performances and for representing Cherrybrook Technology High School with pride and excellence.
