Who started the LIE that when Scripture exhorts wise men to FEAR GOD, it merely meant "respect" & "reverence", and not literal terror of the absolute power and authority He has over our existence and every breath, not to mention His justification in judging us immediately?

It's ALL of the above. Almighty God is good, but He's not "safe". That's why it's the beginning of wisdom to fear God.

If we actually feared God, we would never vote for our own interests, but His righteousness, whether in the privacy of the ballot box, or on the floor of parliament. 👀

So DO you? DO you fear God?

If yes, you're on your way to wisdom.

If no, God calls you a fool - and He's never wrong.

Religions are classified using the Australian Standard Classification of Religious Groups.

Your response is not an existential, metaphysical, theological treatise.

It's a blunt, cultural demographic profile tool.

The question should be understood as, WHAT'S YOUR CULTURE.

Be specific.

If your flavour of Christian is listed, just tick it.

If you don't care or know, OR EVEN IF YOU'RE JUST A CULTURAL CHRISTIAN, write "Christian".

If you're a specific flavour (denomination) not listed, like PENTECOSTAL, write that.

This isn't a question about your church attendance, or affection for the Almighty, or beliefs. It's measuring the cultural, religious values which make up Australia.

Another way of understanding the question is, what moral values would you like to see MORE of in our nation?

So don't complicate it.

SOME PASTORS THINK the Gospel and Church is just winning souls — evangelism.

It's much bigger.

It's city, nation, world and history changing. That's not done without discipleship of nations. That's not done without saying what He says about debated issues.

Disciple-makers CANNOT stay out of politics and the public square. Nations rage against the Gospel and Kingdom.

Preaching a Gospel which has nothing to teach about the delusion, confusion, darkness, deception, injustice, oppression and tyranny of culture, society and governments is an anaemic, emaciated, atrophied "Gospel".

It's rebellion against the Great Commission, the Lord's Prayer, and the Sermon on the Mount.
