💙💛 Celebrating our 2026 NAPLAN results! 💛💙

NAPLAN is just one small snapshot of learning at one point in time. We know that student success is so much bigger than a test result, and our focus will always be on the whole child, their learning, wellbeing, confidence, relationships, growth and sense of belonging.

That said, we are incredibly proud of our 2026 NAPLAN results. Our students have achieved some outstanding outcomes.

These results are a reflection of teamwork. Our students thrive when they are surrounded by caring relationships, a strong and coherent curriculum, explicit teaching and the right support to help every child grow.

We are so proud of our students and grateful to our incredible staff and families who work together every day to support them to learn, grow and achieve.

The results are worth celebrating, but the children behind them are what matter most.

💛💙 NOT ALL PRINCIPALS WEAR CAPES, BUT OURS DO! 💙💛

Today, our students and staff came together for a very special assembly to celebrate our incredible Principals, Mr Irish and Ms Whiteside, and to say a very big THANK YOU for everything they do for our Chelsea Primary community.

Being a Principal is about so much more than leadership — they’re problem-solvers, cheerleaders, mentors, mediators, playground experts, crisis managers and professional finders of things that everyone else has already looked for! 😂

Most importantly, they care deeply about our students, our staff and our school. They celebrate our wins, support us through the tricky moments and somehow keep Chelsea Primary ticking along every single day.

Today, our students also presented them with a very special Principals’ Day gift — something they have worked incredibly hard to create, with lots of love. ❤️

We are incredibly lucky to have two such wonderful leaders at the heart of our school.

Thank you, Mr Irish & Ms Whiteside, for all that you do. We appreciate you more than you know!

🌍✈️ *Grade 5 Travel Expo Success!* ✈️🌍

A massive shout out to all our amazing Grade 5 students for their tremendous efforts with their Travel Expo group projects! 👏 The amount of thought, effort, creativity, and dedication that went into these projects was truly outstanding. Every display showcased fantastic teamwork, research, and imagination, making it incredibly difficult to choose our winners. Miss A and Miss D were so incredibly proud of each and every one of you!
