We warmly invite our local preschool children and their parents and carers to join us for a special Storytime in the Library session at St Joseph's Chelsea.

Our Middle Level students proudly showcased their incredible island creations to families and fellow students this afternoon!

As part of their Inquiry Learning this term, students explored Geography, developing their understanding of climate, biomes and how these shape environments around the world. They applied this knowledge creatively to design and present their own unique islands, demonstrating both their learning and imagination.

What a wonderful day our Foundation students enjoyed at their Pyjama Day and Teddy Bear Picnic! 🧸✨

After working so hard to fill their class star jars by consistently demonstrating safety, respect and responsibility, both classes well and truly earned this special celebration. It was a joy to see the children arrive in their cosy pyjamas, bringing along their favourite teddy bears and big smiles.

The day was filled with laughter, friendship and fun as students shared a picnic together and celebrated their achievement. We are so proud of the positive choices our Foundation students continue to make each day!

Earlier this term, a group of our environmentally conscious Student Leaders had a fantastic time attending Day 1 of the Big Green Conference!

They collaborated with students from other schools, explored important environmental issues, and began developing innovative ideas to make a positive difference in our community.

We’re so proud of their enthusiasm, teamwork and commitment to creating a more sustainable future and we can’t wait to see their projects come to life!

We are incredibly proud of Harry for his outstanding achievement at the Victorian Trampolining Championships!

Despite recently fracturing his arm and having limited preparation time, Harry showed remarkable determination and resilience, placing 1st in all of his events and becoming Victorian Champion in both U13 Trampoline and U13 Double Mini.

Harry has now been selected for the Victorian State Gymnastics Team and will travel to Sydney in July to compete at the National Championships. Congratulations, Harry, on this wonderful success — we wish you every success at Nationals!

A wonderful exploration and celebration of Italian culture took place this week at St Joseph’s!

On Tuesday, students enjoyed an entertaining bilingual show that brought Italian language and traditions to life in a fun and interactive way. It was fantastic to see our students actively participating and embracing the experience with such enthusiasm and excitement.

Last week our Foundation to Year 2 students enjoyed a fabulous day at Werribee Zoo.

Students had the opportunity to explore the zoo, learn about a variety of animals and their habitats, and take part in an exciting and educational experience outside the classroom. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces throughout the day!

A big thank you to our staff and volunteers who helped make the excursion such a success.
