Dance simultaneously releases serotonin, dopamine, and oxytocin while lowering cortisol. When performed in groups, it creates interbrain synchrony that strengthens social bonds. Researchers are now advocating for dance to be considered a front-line treatment for depression.
Whether in a living room or a ballroom, moving to the beat is proving transformative.

Another fabulous day of AATBD Inc. competitions at Trophy Day today.

We are so incredibly proud of all of our students who participated in the troupe competitions and Shields.

A very special congratulations to our Wednesday Sub Juniors for winning 2nd place in the 7 & under section!! 🤩🤩

Well done to Rachel Alwyn who achieved her Senior Theatrical Shield today with two amazing solos! 🤩

And finally a huge well done to our Young Seniors / Seniors troupe for achieving an Honourable Mention in the 16 & Under section. 🤩

What a day! Last Sunday was one of the biggest Ballerina and Own Choreography Days the AATBD has had for quite a few years.
