So proud of Kiko for her very first outdoor fair performance. She took the stage with such heart and presence, performing her original song “Exist”, opening with the Japanese pop song “Aiyamo,” and sharing covers by Billie Eilish and Laufey.

Accompanying her on guitar was her dad, Toshi Yanagi, and I had the joy of joining them on background vocals. What a special moment to stand beside longtime friends and watch a young artist step so boldly into her voice.

First outdoor fair performance… and definitely not the last. 💫

In May of 2017, I opened Everyone Can Sing Studios, a place where I witnessed many amazing transformations, art, expression, healing, community. Thank you everyone who came to create!

Over 7 years ago, I had a dream of opening my very own space. I drew it on a piece of paper...dimension, a small stage, retail window and this place became a reality the very next day! A safe place that could be used to make music and teach students how to use their voices. I brought my family, friends and community into my world of music and art. This is my studio Everyone Can Sing in Chatsworth CA. I'm so grateful!
