🖐️ Story 6｜Can Sun Wukong Escape?

Even the mighty Monkey King has to learn that he can’t always win.

Sun Wukong had the 72 Transformations.

He had the Somersault Cloud.

And he had his legendary Golden-Banded Staff.

He could even travel 108,000 li with a single somersault!

So he believed:

“There is no one in the world who can catch me!”

Until one day…

He met the Buddha.

Sun Wukong proudly said:

“With one somersault, I can reach the end of the world!”

And so…

WHOOSH!!!

He flew farther and farther…

until he saw five enormous pillars.

“Ha! I’ve reached the end of the world!”

To prove that he had been there, Sun Wukong left his mark on one of the pillars.

But when he returned…

😳

The five pillars were still right there — in the Buddha’s palm!

Sun Wukong had never left the Buddha’s hand.

And so, the mighty Monkey King was trapped beneath the Five Elements Mountain.

🐒 Even the strongest heroes have something to learn.

And for Sun Wukong, this was only the beginning of his true journey.

第六篇｜🖐️ 孫悟空逃得掉嗎？

主題：再厲害的孫悟空，也有輸的時候。

孫悟空有七十二變。
有筋斗雲。
有金箍棒。

他甚至可以一個筋斗翻十萬八千里！

所以他相信：

「這個世界上，沒有人抓得住我！」

直到有一天……

他遇到了如來佛祖。

孫悟空說：

「我一個筋斗，就可以飛到天的盡頭！」

於是——

咻！！！

他飛呀飛……

最後看見了五根巨大的柱子。

「哈哈！我已經到世界盡頭了！」

於是，他在柱子上留下記號。

可是當他回來時……

😳

那五根柱子，竟然還在如來佛祖的手掌裡！

原來——

孫悟空一直沒有離開佛祖的手掌心。

最後，他被壓在五行山下。

🐒 再厲害的人，也會有需要學習的時候。

而這，才是孫悟空真正成長的開始。

One monkey challenges the entire Heavenly Court!

Sun Wukong believed that he had become the most powerful being in the world.

But the heavenly gods told him:

“You are still not powerful enough.”

Sun Wukong was furious.

😤 “What did you say?”

And so began his legendary adventure…

⚡ The Great Havoc in Heaven!

He fought his way into Heaven.

Heavenly warriors came!

Fight!

The gods came!

Fight!

Nothing seemed to be able to stop him.

Sun Wukong proudly declared:

“I am the Great Sage Equal to Heaven!”

But this wasn’t only about proving that he was strong.

Sun Wukong wanted everyone to know:

“Never underestimate someone just because they seem small or different.”

And that is one reason why Sun Wukong became one of the most beloved heroes in Chinese literature and legend.

The magical 72 Transformations!

One of Sun Wukong’s most famous powers is…

✨ The 72 Transformations! ✨

He could transform into:

🐦 A little bird
🐟 A fish
🌳 A tree
👨 A human
…and even…

🐜 A tiny insect!

But there was just one problem.

Was transforming really as easy as it looked?

One day, Sun Wukong transformed himself into a tree.

He thought:

“Ha! No one will ever find me now!”

But then…

😱 A familiar voice called out:

“Sun Wukong, do you really think I can’t see through your disguise?”

One of Sun Wukong’s greatest wishes was simple:

“I want to be faster than everyone else!”

So he learned incredible magical abilities.

With just one somersault…

He could travel 108,000 li in a single leap! ☁️🐒

Later, he also gained his famous magical cloud:

🌊 Story 2｜Sun Wukong Visits the Dragon Palace

“I need a weapon worthy of me!”

After learning many amazing skills, Sun Wukong suddenly had a thought:

“If I’m the Monkey King, how can I possibly be without a powerful weapon?”

So he travelled all the way to the legendary…

🌊 Dragon Palace beneath the Eastern Sea!

When the Dragon King saw Sun Wukong, he probably thought:

“This monkey… looks like trouble.”

And he was right!

Sun Wukong looked at all the weapons in the Dragon Palace.

Too light.

Too weak.

Until he spotted a mysterious golden staff.

It was said to weigh an incredible 13,500 jin!

Sun Wukong picked it up and said:

“This one! I like it!”

And just like that, he had his legendary weapon:

⚡ The Golden-Banded Staff — the Ruyi Jingu Bang!

But wait…

Would the Dragon King really give such a powerful treasure to a monkey so easily?

Where did Sun Wukong come from?

High on Flower Fruit Mountain, there was a mysterious stone.

Then one day…

BOOM! 💥

The stone suddenly cracked open, and out jumped a little monkey!

He had no parents and no one to teach him martial arts, yet he was incredibly brave, clever, and quick.

The monkeys were so impressed by his courage that they chose him as their king.

But Sun Wukong had an even bigger dream:

“Being the Monkey King isn’t enough!
I want to learn some real magical skills!”

And so, his incredible adventure began…
