We will perhaps rename this page, the Chinglish Bilingual Toastmasters Club, now closed.
I was reflecting the other day on missing this club on the one hand, since it closed, there was a gap of sorts.
Yet life is such, that on the other hand the void is soon filled with other things!
What is also a blessing, are the amazing people I can call friends, who all walked through the doors of our little club, for friendship, self development and a whole lot of fun!
Those fun nights may be fond memories, but the fun and friendships live on!!

Chinglish Farewell Dinner A celebration of the successes of Chinglish TMC over the past 10+ years and a reunion of past and present members with special friends.

Chinglish TM is folding 😢 We will be having a farewell dinner in August (in lieu of a meeting) and would love to invite you 😄

We had an amazing first meeting back in person at our new venue - Dougherty Centre. To celebrate, Vivienne baked some gourmet fresh raspberry muffins for all the attendees to enjoy 😋

There may be more homemade baked goods in the upcoming meetings just in case you needed an extra reason to join or visit! 😆

I have spent over ten years of my life with this wonderful club. I have had my share of personal highs and lows. The club too has had good times and, like all clubs some struggles here and there.
2022 is shaping up as a year of rebirth for the club. As we shake off our post lock down doldrums, and commence a New Year, we will change and grow to face the world again!
It will be a year of promise, a good year to be a member of our club!
I found that one of the pleasures of being a member of this club are, aside from my own personal development, learning so much of the rich history of China. I have heard things which fascinated me and which moved me. I have had some fun too!
As this year winds down, it’s exciting to think what the new year will bring!

Chinglish Bilingual Toastmasters is changing our meeting nights same time, different nights.

Currently we meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.

From Wednesday the 19th of January 2022 we will meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.

We will post further news in the next several weeks about our plans for the future!
