About:-

The Cessnock Gem and Mineral Club was founded in November 1966, in Vincent Street Cessnock, by 16 like-minded people, to encourage the hobby of collecting rocks, minerals, fossils and gemstones, and jewellery making. Over the years the Cessnock Gem and Mineral Club has raised money to purchase saws, grinding wheels, cutting, polishing and faceting equipment, as well as silver - smithing

We've been very busy since the auction - thanks to all those people who came and made it a most successful day. The faceters have been hard at work and our silversmiths once again have come up with some very creative jewellery.

DIRECTIONS FOR THOSE WHOSE GPS IS ALWAYS LETTING THEM DOWN - Go through the lights at the primary school, turn right at the next street, then bear right at the intersection. The clubhouse is the brick building at the end of the street.
